New multi-million project for Eastern Transvaal raises eyebrows – So far all ANC regime projects have failed and cost taxpayers millions

A multi-million rand project, which is expected to be developed close to the Mozambique border, has raised questions and several experts have already raised their eyebrows that it will be yet another failure.

With rail and road connections at their disposal as part of the required infrastructure, it is believed to be a special economic region where expected growth by new investors is a possibility.

The project aims to plant and export crops to Mozambique, and the so-called establishment of Nkomazi’s special economic zone will apparently focus on “agro-processing”.

In December last year, the Department of Trade and Industry approved the province to develop the 673 hectares of land.

Approximately R4bn is seen as investment, which will apparently also provide a significant number of jobs, but whether the new project will also end like the Vrede Dairy project will just take the time, agricultural experts said.

The government has prioritised immigration reform to attract skilled workers to the country, president Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed in his latest newsletter, released on Monday morning.

This has been an important part of finance minister Tito Mboweni’s growth plan, which proposed friendlier immigration regulations for foreigners with tertiary qualifications from accredited institutions.

In order to attract investment that will boost the SA economy, government is also working on improving business conditions through reforms such as an e-visa process and an electronic deeds registry system, Ramaphosa said in the newsletter.

He stressed the importance of attracting foreign direct investment and he shared government’s plans to improve the ease of doing business in the country. The president is currently in London, where he will be addressing the Financial Times Africa Summit 2019 – a gathering of business people and investors.

The new “struggle” is apparently far more complicated – it must now stop the disintegration in the ANC, but if the “struggle” succeeds and a victory is achieved again, the true struggle is not over yet.

It is Ramaphosa and his cabinet must overcome the new “struggle” to prevent South Africa from turning into another Zimbabwe, because it is fast approaching, informed observers say.

The president’s begging trip to London is aimed at convincing people to do the stupid thing and take big investments to South Africa with the risk of losing everything.

Chinese ambassador spells out the blunt truths about investment in South Africa – Appears that they want to take over after incompetent ANC destroys SA

China’s ambassador to South Africa, Lin Songtian, has made it clear: if South Africa hopes to attract the further Chinese investment it needs to resuscitate its stagnant economy and it has to renovate its infrastructure, including revitalising the governance of state-owned enterprises.

China’s ambassador to South Africa, Lin Songtian, is a master of the back-handed compliment.

Reportedly connected to the highest echelons of his government, he manages to convey tough messages to Pretoria, wrapped in layers of praise.

At a seminar at the Chinese embassy in April, for instance, he said that he “always speaks highly of South Africa”.

“Because why? Because 20 years ago South Africa was much better than China. Bankrupt SABC gets R2.1 billion bailout to continue mismanagement, CEO receives excessive amount of R3.9 million for 9 months of work

Communications Minister Stella Ndabeni Abrahams has just announced that the SABC will receive R2.1bn as part of a R3.2bn bailout. The ANC regime is pumping billions of rand into the ineffective SOE and has now been warned that no further aid will be provided.

The struggling national broadcaster once again got money from the state coffers to continue its mismanagement. However, the government apparently set strict conditions before the money was released. The conditions include that the public broadcaster must present a list of identified initiatives to improve its inputs, submit ideas to save costs as well as conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of its financial collapse and a separate financial reporting for providing public and commercial broadcasting services. Abrahams says that the SABC currently meets most of the conditions set by the government.

LETTER: We were sold out in 1994 – ANC ruined our education system

LETTER – We were sold out in 1994. For 25 years we’ve been ruled by an ANC that could and did shun all other parties as long as it kept its majority and worked within the confines of our Constitution.

The ANC has an abusive relationship with the masses who keep it in political power, and in return get financially held down, mercilessly robbed of their economic freedom – their disposable income.

The ANC did a good con job on citizens in the last national election – imagine the number of votes one can buy with a R1.1billion election fund!

Soon there will be another unobstructed ANC feeding frenzy with Aarto and NHI, and if you’re not high on their party list you’re up the proverbial creek without a paddle!

Trade unions are rejecting ANC’s plans to sell non-performing SOE’s

All indications are that the ANC is prepared to execute the Tito Mboweni plan and sell the non-performing entities.

For the ANC it is like swallowing a prickly pear with thorns and all, because it is a testament to their inability to run certain entities profitably.

The Ramaphosa government faces an enormous fiscal dilemma, and the sale of various entities will not only be humiliating, but will also leave many ANC senior workers unemployed when private entities take over the entities.

However, the question is whether Cosatu and other unions will agree to such a move, knowing that their own members may lose their jobs because it is known that the state entities are not profitable because too many people are employed was taken.

Institutions such as Denel, SAA, Eskom, Transnet, and various other entities are likely to come under the “selling spotlight” when negotiating with the unions that will oppose the idea.

South Africa is known as a country where violence is the dominant element that is wreaking havoc on thousands of people’s lives.

In one way or another, every reader has already been struck by the barbaric violence that just cannot be stopped by the regime.

Home burglaries are the most common crime, and because the police are poorly trained, and slow to catch the villains, it becomes a better way for the criminals to make money than to do an honorable job.

More than 1.3 million home burglary incidents have hit the country in the past year, which means a burglary occurs every 20 hours.

Property theft remains ever-popular, and 1.2 million cases have been reported with street theft reportedly on the heels, but statistics are lacking.

The auto industry is equally appealing to villains, and more than 83,000 vehicles have been stolen in various ways.

ANC regime threatens financial survival of SA, Government debt increases every day

The ANC government is extremely dangerous and threatens the financial survival of South Africa, as its eagerness to lend remains unsaturated.

This is the opinion of an economic adviser following the SA Reserve Bank’s announcement that government debt is rising faster than provided by any institution.

The government’s total loan debt has risen to a breathtaking level of just over 58% of the annual budget.

Experts point out that South Africa has now reached the point where Moody’s can no longer turn its head, and even if that were to happen, it is an undeniable reality that the country has landed deep into the abyss of being subjected to junk status, and may not be coming out of it again soon.

Rotten ANC-regime gives valuable Sandton land to Gupta’s, steals Alexandra renewal money

How is it possible that this rotten ANC organization, which has proven over and over that it is nothing more than an organized criminal cartel, fool the people of South Africa for so long? In another massive scandal it has come to light that the land on which the Sandton Gautrain station is built and the space above it that is earmarked for development was raked in by the Gupta front company ‘Regiments Capital’ totally for free.

This massive scandal dates back to the days when the ANC still ruled Johannesburg. It came to light by chance when the water supply was cut off to the Gautrain station because the property taxes were not paid. The 3 hectare land of the Gautrain station belongs to Cedar Park 39 Pty Ltd, which is part of the Regiments group. Regiments was used by the Guptas to render fictitious so called consultancy services to State Owned Enterprises like Eskom, Transnet and South African Airways.
