One of SA’s richest black businessmen wants to create thousands of jobs – Without a doubt whites will not be involved in the initiative and BEE will be given preference

One of South Africa’s richest blacks has set up a fund to provide “thousands of jobs over the next few years”.

It is apparently his second big initiative to be announced in a few weeks, and billionaire and businessman Patrice Motsepe has big plans.

As CEO of the mining group African Rainbow Minerals, he also recently announced that he has also set up a fund to empower blacks in agriculture.

The Motsepe Foundation apparently has links with 33 faith institutions and organizations that are all set to start creating jobs.

However, experts believe that too many expectations are created by institutions and faith groups that have no knowledge of economic realities.

He expects other large institutions to contribute R50m each and thus sit on its “advisory committee”.

Eskom and SA are paying an expensive price for ANC’s Affirmative Action Policy – white experienced and knowledgeable engineers are missing from the state entity and now experts have to come from abroad to save Eskom

Eskom and the government’s unwavering attitude to applying Affirmative Action (RA) is now costing South Africa. Due to RA, experienced and knowledgeable engineers have left Eskom and now the Minister of Public Enterprises, Mr. Pravin Gordhan, are asking them to help save Eskom.

The Freedom Front Plus has long warned that RA is harmful to Eskom, but also to South Africa. The concern has already emerged from a parliamentary question in 2011 by the leader of the Freedom Front Plus, dr. Pieter Groenewald, to the Minister of Public Enterprises, about the number of engineers, artisans and technicians who left Eskom.

According to the minister’s reply, from 2008 to March 2011, 455 engineers, of whom 110 were white, resigned from Eskom, and 13 were retired, 11 of whom were white. In the same period, 342 technicians resigned and 38 retired. (See attached reply from minister).

ANC took all the political power in SA, 25 years ago and launched initiatives such as BEE and Affirmative Action to help the previous disadvantage people, but why are these so called people still living in shacks, still going hungry, still unemployed and poor?

Come, black man, black woman in South Africa – tell us this: You are poor. You are unemployed. You are still in the shack. You are still hungry.

25 Years ago the ANC took all the political power in the country and launched initiatives such as BEE and Affirmative Action to help you.

Why are you still poor after all this time? Is it Jan van Riebeeck or HF Verwoerd or Eugene TerreBlanche? Is it any of them who tells you how you were robbed of land and abused and disadvantaged, but behind your back they pose for pictures with their personal fashion designer?

No black man, black woman – these are the men who live in opulence, with their bellies full with your children’s food, who wears the fancy suits and expensive watches and live in mansions with many rooms, who drives a fancy car and never bothers to ride in a bus or a train – these are the men who do not lie awake at night worrying about the candle that might set the shack

This is what happens when BEE contractors are prefer over skilled labour!: Medupi and Kusile- The two new coal-fired power stations’ “error” repair costs already amount to R2 billion.

According to observers, the repair costs of errors at the Medupi and Kusile coal-powered power stations are already nearing R2 billion.

This puts the expected start up costs at R292 billion, which is twice the initial estimated cost. The device that grinds the coal, the furnaces and other systems at both plants does not function properly and is attributed to poor craftsmanship.

The two plants were erected by people who had never undertaken such an assembly project, and took it much longer to complete than initially calculated.

This is what happens when applying BEE to appoint workers! Incompetent personnel working at Spoornet as well as failure to do maintenance and repairs are the cause of the fatal train crash

The truth is out. Communication problems between the train driver and Spoornet’s control officer caused the accident at Mountain View when two trains collided.

The train driver apparently requested the wrong authorization repeatedly and wanted to know what the controller confirmed the wrong authorization. Spoornet’s language policy has not been complied with. Speed was obviously also responsible for the accident. Prasa confirms that the part of the track has been hand-made since November 2018 because signals do not work and have not been repaired, and errors have occurred at various levels.

The fact that the signals are not being restored contributed to Spoornet that another million Rand was thrown into the water.
