When Corruption Becomes Deadly! PRASA Heading For A Train Crash With No Brake Sets in Stock! South Africa Being Turned into a Train Wreck!

#TheAfricanWay at PRASA – Are you sure you want to get on that train? Management at PRASA have looted all the money, even for train brakes, now they are scratching around in old drums looking for old second hand parts to use!

An official inspection by the the Rail Safety Regulator (RSR) at the Braamfontein maintenance premises of PRASA, has found that they don’t have a single train brake set in stock, and can’t replace worn brake parts on PRASA trains. This finding by the Rail Safety Regulator has been officially communicated to Prasa in a letter addressed to them on 22 January.

PRASA has been ordered to provide the RSR with proof that it intends to solve the shortage of brake block sets and Prasa has also been ordered to provide assurances and proof that all brake block sets on trains are in a safe serviceable order. Eskom Sinks To Lowest Output Ever, With Dim Outlook, Despite Two New White Managers Tasked With Reversing Mind Numbing Corruption From 25 Years of ANC Plunder & Misrule!

Eskom has reached a historic low in terms of output during the last month. This slow rot and decay is then also the historic achievement, or lowpoint of the ANC, with its implementation of mind numbing and all pervasive corruption, crony tender practices and their Africanization or black quota recruitment policies and cadre deployment program.

In other words their implementation of #TheAfricanWay has finally led to more than a third of Eskom’s installed generating capacity being out of order in January 2020. Only 61,5% of its generating units are able to produce power at the moment. Chris Yelland, an energy expert, told Netwerk24 that this is the worst performance level for Eskom ever.

Yelland called Eskom’s current performance a historic low. A shocking 28,41 % of total Eskom capacity was not available in the past month due to Eskom’s power units breaking down. Units breaking down can only be attributed to a lack of maintenance over a long period of time. Eskom

ANC government focused on looting and not maintenance of infrastructure- over a period of 25 years they repeatedly showed that they are was unable to manage or govern

The ANC government’s focus so far has been mainly on the looting of the fiscus and not on the maintenance of the country’s infrastructure and other state assets.

Proper infrastructure is the lifeblood of the economy and ensures that residents have access to roads, bridges, schools, water and many other services. Without proper infrastructure maintenance, no country can survive economically. No international investor will come to invest money in South Africa while infrastructure is not being renovated and maintained

In South Africa, the onus is on the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure to do this maintenance. Not only is the department the custodian and manager of the state’s real estate assets, but also the creator and maintainer of South Africa’s infrastructure

Eskom may be peddling its problems – now wants to sell some of its power plants to cut losses due to maintenance costs

Eskom plans to sell off its power plants in order to get rid of the bigger problems in the industry.

Informed sources told Die Vryburger that Eskom wants to sell its power plants that require large maintenance costs and are guilty of the huge pollution in certain areas such as the Eastern Transvaal to private entrepreneurs.

Eskom’s financial crisis does not allow him to do proper maintenance and end the huge air pollution, and now it seems that he would prefer to sell such power plants.

Eskom has still focused on the possibility of nuclear power generation, but the bankrupt entity will not be able to raise the funds for it.

The national rail system of SA are in serious trouble – Prasa had nearly 50 collisions last year alone, Transnet had nearly 1,000 collisions – The ANC have some serious explaining to do and this is not Jan van Riebeeck or apartheid’s fault but lack of no maintenance

Railway engineer and analyst Dr Willem Sprong says the rail network can still be saved, but only just.

With only three months left on their contracts, the Passenger Rail Agency SA’s (Prasa) board still has time and money to fix the failing agency.

This is according to railway engineer and analyst Dr Willem Sprong, who is technical director for railway engineering at Gibb Engineering.

Sprong has over 20 years’ experience in the industry.

It’s not a secret that Prasa and, in fact, the national rail system are in serious trouble.

Transport Minister Blade Nzimande appointed an interim board last year with a one-year mandate to change “the state of paralysis” at the rail agency.

Since their appointment, a number of accidents have led to deaths and injuries.
