Grant Esterhuizen – Silky Runner
Kyk hier: SAUK TV
Grant Esterhuizen was a very solid centre who played for the Blue Bulls, the Cats and the Stormers. He also represented South Africa at test level in 2000 and was unlucky not to play more tests for the Boks.

Jean-Baptiste Lafond – Fantastic Finisher
Kyk hier: SAUK TV
One of France’s lesser known players was Jean-Baptiste Lafond. I became a fan of his during the 1991 Rugby World Cup where he was the joint top try scorer with David Campese.
This video actually doesn’t do justice to his skills – he was a wonderfully balanced runner, with a swerve that caused opposing defences a lot of headaches. He was unlucky not to be a more regular started for France, but he was behind some French legends like Saint-Andre, Lagisquet and Blanco.
Still, he was one of my favourite players growing up.

Chris Latham – Attacking Genius
Kyk hier: SAUK TV
Chris Latham was a lethal runner and overall brilliant on attack. He could cut defenses to pieces and liked running straight and hard. He was very good under the high ball and had a good left boot to take pressure off his team. He was one of the most complete fullbacks to ever play the game. Here are his highlights.

Jesse Kriel – The Strike Runner
Kyk hier: SAUK TV
Jesse Kriel was a bit of a prodigy when he made his debut for the Bulls as a 20 year old in 2014. Now he is a Springbok veteran with a World Cup winners medal around his neck. He hasn’t always been the number one pick at 13 for the Springboks, but he scored some brilliant tries over the years.
Here are the best of them.
