Man arrested for selling different types of fake academic qualifications certificates during an intelligence driven operation. On the day of his arrest he had just sold a Human Resource Management Diploma for R800.
Edmond Ekechukwu (44) was denied bail by the Piet Retief Magistrate’s Court last Thursday for fraud and Corruption following his arrest by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit on Wednesday.
Ekechukwu was It was also discovered that he runs an internet café where was arrested and had his hard drive, and the Department of Social Development’s official stamp as well other electronic equipment confiscated.
The case against Okechukwu has been postponed to October 24 for verification of his immigration status in the country.
