Lesufi tweeted this remark in response to the announcement of the FF+’s election manifesto demanding the abolition of BEE and affirmative action. Hundreds of cows dying from neglect has been termed “a challenge” by the MEC for Agriculture in the Eastern Cape, Nonkqubela Pieters. What normal people would call animal abuse, the socialists (sociopaths?) call a challenge? It is becoming patently clear that Ramaphosa’s “our people” simply cannot, or do not want to farm, they just want the cash handouts and free stuff that comes with all these disastrous virtue seeking schemes. The milk farm financed by the state to the tune of R43 million, as a much publicised empowerment project for “our people”, has collapsed in the Eastern Cape, leaving most of the cows dead and not much going on besides the odd sickly cow wandering about.

ANC government focused on looting and not maintenance of infrastructure- over a period of 25 years they repeatedly showed that they are was unable to manage or govern

The ANC government’s focus so far has been mainly on the looting of the fiscus and not on the maintenance of the country’s infrastructure and other state assets.

Proper infrastructure is the lifeblood of the economy and ensures that residents have access to roads, bridges, schools, water and many other services. Without proper infrastructure maintenance, no country can survive economically. No international investor will come to invest money in South Africa while infrastructure is not being renovated and maintained

In South Africa, the onus is on the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure to do this maintenance. Not only is the department the custodian and manager of the state’s real estate assets, but also the creator and maintainer of South Africa’s infrastructure

Eskom and SA are paying an expensive price for ANC’s Affirmative Action Policy – white experienced and knowledgeable engineers are missing from the state entity and now experts have to come from abroad to save Eskom

Eskom and the government’s unwavering attitude to applying Affirmative Action (RA) is now costing South Africa. Due to RA, experienced and knowledgeable engineers have left Eskom and now the Minister of Public Enterprises, Mr. Pravin Gordhan, are asking them to help save Eskom.

The Freedom Front Plus has long warned that RA is harmful to Eskom, but also to South Africa. The concern has already emerged from a parliamentary question in 2011 by the leader of the Freedom Front Plus, dr. Pieter Groenewald, to the Minister of Public Enterprises, about the number of engineers, artisans and technicians who left Eskom.

According to the minister’s reply, from 2008 to March 2011, 455 engineers, of whom 110 were white, resigned from Eskom, and 13 were retired, 11 of whom were white. In the same period, 342 technicians resigned and 38 retired. (See attached reply from minister).
