Farmers Defense Force Wins Court Case Against State and Public Broadcaster’s (AVROTROS) Fake News in Netherlands!

Dutch Establishment Broadcasts Fake News! The Dutch farmers’ action group, Farmers Defense Force (FDF), has won a lawsuit against the State of the Netherlands and AVROTROS, the public broadcaster. The reason for the court case was the broadcast of the TV program “Opsporing Verzocht“, in which the group FDF was associated with arson, without any proof for it. FDF was been wrongly associated with the arson near the RIVM in Bilthoven.

The Public Prosecution Service works with the TV program makers and communicates their investigation reports o them. According to the ruling, the State and AVROTROS must together pay the legal costs, salary costs, interest costs and an amount of €3,425 to the FDF.

It rarely happens that a victory like this occurs in a media climate in which the mass media is actively working against Dutch farmers and specifically the FDF. The farmers are blamed for everything, but it now appears that it may not always go unpunished.

Jacob Zuma back in Supreme Court – conviction could lead to a long time behind bars for the former ANC leader

The chief justice’s office confirmed that former ANC president Jacob Zuma will appear in Pietermaritzburg in court.

Zuma is expected to appear in a court case on Friday, which will now be four days sooner than initially scheduled.

The case, which would initially begin on October 15, was premature amid his initial request that the case be wholly removed from the role of the arms deal he allegedly was involved in.

The lawsuit will only take place after Zuma has managed to evade the courtroom for several years, but after 14 years the moment of truth has come to him about the alleged corruption involving a R38 billion transaction.

These are some of the knife’s serious court cases that have been held lately, and suspicions exist that conviction could lead to a long time behind bars for the former ANC leader.

Zuma found guilty to a charge of defamation and must pay R500,000 to former minister Derek Hanekom

Jacob Zuma, the ANC’s former president, who was busy with corruption during his reign, was found guilty in court of naming his former minister, Derek Hanekom.

Zuma allegedly said on the social network that Hanekom was an old spy of the enemy, which led to a court case in which Hanekom claimed R500,000 against Zuma.

The court ruled that Zuma should remove the offended comment on the social network, and he must properly apologize to Hanekom for his false accusation.

His legal representatives filed an appeal on Friday in an effort to set aside the Natal Supreme Court’s finding.

Judge Dhaya Pillay ordered Zuma to apologize to Derek Hanekom within 24 hours and remove the entry on the social network earlier, and is also responsible for the court costs.

Zuma’s lawyers say he did not portray Hanekom as a spy, but only as an agent of the enemy.

R1.3m payout after SA oranges arrived square in Italy – one can only imagine WHO packed it?

One of the largest players in the Italian citrus trading market ordered and bought round oranges from a Limpopo orange company but square oranges instead arrived in Sicily, Italy.

This is how a judge described the damages claim which came before him in the Gauteng High Court, Pretoria.

The Italian company Oranfrizer instituted a claim in Euro against Fruitone Ltd, a farming operation in Zebediela, Limpopo. In rands the claim amounts to about R1.3 million.

The problem was that the immaculate round, orange fruit, no longer appeared round when the shipments landed in Sicily, as it was nearly all squashed and flat.

This was apparently due to how the Limpopo company packed the fruit prior to shipping.

Judge Norman Davis remarked that what was actually to be a simple case, resulted in five years of litigation between the parties and a host of experts on the subject of packing and quality control, which were called to testify.
