Ford SA decided to compensate after at least 39 Kuga vehicles caught fire, where people burned to death or where injured severely
The Ford Motor Company in South Africa finally decided to start negotiations with people and families who incurred damage with a Ford Kuga.
The poorly crafted Kuga whose machine apparently overheats and caused at least 39 owners’ terror by catching fire and even lead to the death of several people or serious injuries. Furthermore, at least 34 of the more than 4,500 Ford cars have shown serious deficiencies in the manufacturer’s vehicle.
Experts told Die Vryburger it creates the impression that Ford tried to shy away from debt recognition for so long before they became prepared to negotiate compensation and expressed the opinion that Ford’s quality control controls are extremely questionable.
