ANC controlled entity, Prasa placed under administration – SAA, PRASA and who is next?

The state-run Passenger Rail Agency (Prasa) has been placed under administration with immediate effect. Fikile Mbalula, minister of transport, announced the decision Monday morning during a media conference. Furthermore he stated that the immediate dissolution of Prasa’s interim council will also come into effect. Bongisizwe Mpondo was appointed as Prasa’s administrator . This decision comes barely a week after the South African Airways was put into business rescue.

According to Mbalula, the Department of Transport has conducted a review of Prasa over the past few weeks. On this basis, the Department has concluded that the entity faces numerous challenges that will require crucial interventions in leadership and management .

Maroela Media reports that Mbalula explaind that the mere replacement of an interim board with a permanent board will not solve Prasa’s problems. “So I decided to dissolve the interim council and put Prasa under administration,” the minister

What a disgrace! Table Mountain Cableway: Visitors get stuck amid #Rollingblackouts

The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company said power surges may have caused the failure of its generator.

The impact of load shedding is being felt across the country, as Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company (TMACC) on Monday confirmed that visitors got stuck on top of the mountain.

In a statement on Monday evening, TMACC said: “TMACC can confirm that visitors who were stuck on the top of the mountain earlier today, when our backup generator failed to kick into gear, are now being safely brought down from the mountain. Power surges are believed to have caused the failure of our generator.”

Meanwhile, visitors who were at the bottom were offered free tickets for an alternative day after the incident.

Yes, without a doubt the c-ANC-er broke Eskom, like they broke everything else. And they are making money from it too.

It is known that the ANC’s investment arm called Chancellor House made a 5000 % profit on its investment in Hitachi South Africa which had the tender for the boilers of Medupi and Kusile power stations. It was also reported in the media that Hitachi did a shoddy job with the welding of the boilers, which will shorten the life expectancy of the entire Medupi and Kusile. Chancellor House is also a shareholder of Pfisterer, a Pietermaritzburg based company supplying equipment to Eskom.

Today Eskom is producing less electricity than in 2007, costing more per unit price and using a bigger workforce than ever before, earning bigger salaries and bonuses.

#Rollingblackouts – Total darkness creeps closer after Eskom applied Phase 6 load shedding

South Africa is getting closer to the risk of a total nationwide power shutdown after Eskom applied Phase 6 load on Monday evening at 6pm, shutting down a region’s power for about 9 hours a day. This is due to additional technical problems occurring at the Medupi power station at Lephalale in Limpopo.

Phase 6 load shedding was switched back to phase 4 at about 22:00 on Monday and it will continue until 23:00 on Tuesday, Eskom confirmed late last night.

However, Eskom Chief Operating Officer Jan Oberholzer later told Moneyweb that phase 6 could be scaled back by 23:00.

South African residents have struggled since the announcement of load shedding to get more information on phase 6 load shedding and load shedding schedules on the national power suppliers’ website. It has also been indicated that there is limited access to Eskom’s website. Furthermore, the Cape Town metro’s online load shedding links were also not operational.

Black union blames ‘lily white’ emergency workers for gold miners deaths

The deaths of four miners at the Tau Lekoa gold mine in the North West province are reportedly blamed on “lily-white emergency workers” who allegedly prevented black workers from saving their buddies. These accusations are being made by the National Union of Miners (Num) After an underground rockfall at Village Main Reef caused miners to be trapped since Friday afternoon.

According to Joseph Montisetse, president of the NUM, “lily-white rescue teams” prevented black volunteers from rescuing those trapped and bringing them to the surface. He says that white people do not care about the lives of black miners, but they do care about the money they generate. Montisetse said their members apparently rescued the only miner found alive and rescue workers were still talking to the trapped Friday at 1pm, but after 5pm they did not hear from them again. He claims that they could have saved the trapped.

#whitelivesdontmatter in SA – Woman brutally murdered during invasion by 4 ruthless black males

A farm attack took place on 7 December 2019, in Rietspruit near Uitkyk, Nelspruit, Mpumalanga province. The attack took place on a smallholding at 12:00.

A 54 year old woman, Catherine Irving, was brutally murdered at Uitkyk Plot 13, Mbombela when she was stabbed to death by four black males who attacked her in her home. Her gardener discovered her body after he saw the attackers run away and he called for help at the neighbors. The woman was found tied up.

The attackers fled with Irving’s firearm and cell phone. Irving, who owned Shamroc Cattery and Kennels, was working outside when she was attacked by the men.

She was taken into her home, tied up, assaulted and killed.

Police are investigating a case of murder and no arrests have been made yet. There is no other information available at this stage.

VIDEO | Kicked because she has a “white attitude” – White woman assaulted by 4 black Metro Police officers during horrific ordeal

Four Metro Police officers, 2 of them women, beat, kicked and hit Kymie du Toit’s head against a concrete floor whilst dragging this young lady who works as a creche teacher from her car at a petrol station in Moreleta Park, Pretoria on Tuesday around 23:30.

The marks were still visible on her face and arms Wednesday whilst speaking to Rapport and her knee was also injured.

And her crime? That is difficult to figure out because she came from an estate near Lyttleton where she did house sitting to look after young children and was just on her way home. What could have possibly made a young white female suspicious to these Metro Police officers is impossible to know.

Why would Minister Mbalula be so concerned about the designs of tekkies? In his culture, shoes never played a part…it came with the colonialist oppressor!

Cash strapped Eskom wants another R27bn from consumers – Could this be the reason why SA is experiencing #Rollingblackouts? To manipulate us into giving them what they want?

In its latest application to the energy regulator, the power utility is claiming this as an underrecovery for 2018/19, meaning tariffs may rise by 16.6% next year

Eskom, which last week again saw a collapse of its power network that led to nationwide load shedding, wants consumers to cough up a further R27 billion for electricity.

The national energy regulator Nersa has published Eskom’s latest application for public comment.

In it, the power utility said this was the amount that it underrecovered in 2018/19, and that it therefore wanted R27 billion more through power tariffs.

Although Eskom suggested that whatever Nersa granted should be added to electricity tariffs next year and the year thereafter, Nersa’s decision will likely be too late to influence 2020 tariff increases.

However, if Eskom receives the full R27.2 billion that it wants, and it is implemented over two years, this could see electricity tariffs in 2021 increase by 11.38% instead of

Racist attack on white children – Two children attacked by black men at a gas station – If the race roles have been switched, the mainstream media would have had a blast by now

An attack on two young boys at a gas station in Richards Bay was recorded by security cameras. Christine le Roux, the mother of the two boys, shared this video on her Facebook profile.

In the video, it showed Le Roux’s youngest son scrambling around in a convenience store to get away from a man. A second man comes from another part of the store and blocks the exit.

The man who blocked the entrance grabbed the boy’s arm while the other man pointed his finger at the boy. At that moment, the boy’s older brother walked in and saw the man was holding his brother in a hold.

The older boy grabbed the man by the shoulder to break the man’s grip. The man then grabbed the older brother while the others slapped him.

A worker at the shop only arrived later and intervened.
