Salt Lake City – Brigham Young University strikes an $875,000 deal to buy adult alternative “107.9 The Mountain” KUMT from Community Wireless of Park City. The deal includes FM boosters in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Randolph, and Provo, and Bountiful, UT. The move will allow the University’s “Classical 89” KBYU-FM to remain untouched as the school puts its BYUradio brand on KUMT and several booster FMs around the Wasatch Front. It airs a mix of talk and public affairs programming. BYUradio airs a mix of talk and public affairs programming.
