The days of burning and murdering because they do not like apartheid are over and the struggle is over, thanks to the actions of the NP.

The new “struggle” is apparently far more complicated – it must now stop the disintegration in the ANC, but if the “struggle” succeeds and a victory is achieved again, the true struggle is not over yet.

It is Ramaphosa and his cabinet must overcome the new “struggle” to prevent South Africa from turning into another Zimbabwe, because it is fast approaching, informed observers say.

The president’s begging trip to London is aimed at convincing people to do the stupid thing and take big investments to South Africa with the risk of losing everything.

An economic expert told Die Vryburger that the chances of big investments coming were as good as letting people live on the sun.

Ramaphosa’s struggles are numerous, and before he can attract significant investors to the country, a few things must be done first.

Panyaza Lesufi slams new Afrikaans university funded by Solidarity: ‘Don’t remind us of apartheid’ – Jealousy makes you nasty!

The campus is part of the union’s education and employment projects worth R4,5 billion over the next five years. The project is set to cost about R300 million funded through donations from the community, the union said.

The university will be home to Solidarity’s accredited, Afrikaans private vocational training college founded on Christian values.

The campus is the first of the major projects the union would embark on over the next five years to boost education and employment to the tune of R4,5 billion.

The next project would be the construction of the Akademia campus where “world-class education will be offered through Afrikaans as the medium of instruction”.

“The strength of Sol-Tech and of this campus lies in the fact that it is being built by the community,” said Solidarity COO Dr Dirk Hermann.

“Every Solidarity member donates R10 to a building fund each month.

AfriForum’s Ernst Roets not in contempt of court over apartheid flag tweet – Roets said he was posing an academic question with his tweet

Johannesburg – The Equality Court on Tuesday ruled that AfriForum deputy chief executive Ernst Roets was not in contempt of court when he tweeted an image of the offensive apartheid flag.

Roets posted the image on Twitter soon after the Equality Court, sitting at the South Gauteng High Court, declared that the gratuitous display of the apartheid flag amounts to hate speech.

Judge Phineas Mojapelo said displaying the old flag constituted hate speech and discrimination based on race. He added that the apartheid-era flag be allowed for academic, artistic and journalistic use only if there was a need and permission to do so.

Roets’ offensive post prompted the Nelson Mandela Foundation to file bring an urgent application to the court.

However, Roets dismissed suggestions that he disrespected the judgment. Instead he said the court ruled the flag could be used for artistic, journalistic and academic purposes.

South-Africa: Since apartheid was abolished, 1,000,000 people have been raped, 500,000 killed

According to the Institute of Racial Relations (IRV), crime statistics look like a low-intensity civil war and SA is still losing the fight against crime.

The people of the country are living under an impending cloud of anarchy every day. The Institute shows that murders have risen to 21,000 over the past year and SA is being compared to a country like Syria. The rape figure looks even worse with two rapes for each murder committed. Since apartheid was abolished, 1,000,000 people have been raped and 500,000 killed.

Commercial crime increased by 14%. More than 83,000 cases have been reported to the police. The offenses include fraud, corruption, money laundering, forgery and cyber crimes. Robberies have exceeded the 140,000 notch while truck hijackings show more than 1,180 reported cases.

South Africa’s murder rate has increased by 5,8 percent compared with the previous year.

A quarter of a century later, after FW de Klerk and Tutu set up the Presidents Fund, thousands of victims of the apartheid era are still waiting for compensation, fingers are now pointing to ANC regime who might have exploited the funds

The victims would have qualify for aid from the Fund that included assistance for housing, health services and proper education. However, they are still waiting for the support. It seems like the ANC-regime just forgot about these so called victims and exploited the funds for the party’s own benefit.

It is almost a quarter of a century after FW de Klerk and Tutu shook hands on the matter, but now thousands still wait to receive a helping hand.

In 2003, the so-called Presidents Fund was established to assist the victims, but it appears that the ANC government does not fulfill their promises just as in the past, except when they can rob the whites of their land, one has victim apparently said.

There is an expectation among victims that the government should give them a one-time assistance payment of R30,000. Calculations show that such a payment will be to the thousands of victims, Billions of Rand, who can not do the bankrupt country withou
