A 53-year-old man from Port Elizabeth was shot in the back during an armed home invasion of two neighboring houses on a plot in Lakeside. It is once again clear that the value of life is getting cheaper every day. Again just a cell phone, TV and cash was stolen, that will only provide food for a few days when split between the attackers, so people’s lives are literally being consumed! Police spokeswoman Colonel Priscilla Naidu confirmed that breaking glass woke a 34-year-old woman and her boyfriend on their plot in Lakeside Road around 1:30 p.m. The woman immediately escaped to her neighbor’s house, on the same plot, leaving her boyfriend with four intruders.
After the sound of more glass breaking, one of the attackers appeared with a firearm in the second house and demanded money, drugs and guns. The woman said the suspect then fled with only cellphones, and then went back to her own home after hearing that
