Another Elderly Couple Murdered, This Time in a Small Village Outside Port Shepstone in KZN!

An elderly couple that was murdered in their home in Umtentweni outside Port Shepstone in Kwazulu-Natal, has been identified as Murray Ross(67) and his wife Julie Ross (60).

Police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge said the couple were found with stab wounds to their neck and head at about noon on the 28th August.
“It is alleged that the domestic worker had received a call to come and assist in offloading goods after shopping. However, on arrival she noticed the car parked in the yard with the doors open. She started taking items into the house. When she entered the house she discovered the deceased lying on the floor bleeding profusely,” said Mpinge.

Is There a Spate of Hijackings in Three Rivers? SAPS says No, Social Media says Yes! Who do we believe?

There is reportedly a spate of hijackings in Three Rivers, but police apparently know of nothing. Social media, on the other hand, is buzzing about a group of men who are believed to be waging a reign of terror in Drie Riviere, and trying to hijack people. However, police say they have no knowledge of this. Who should people believe now?

The police spokesperson in Vereeniging, Capt. Fikile Funda, told Vaalweekblad on Tuesday afternoon that he can only comment on incidents that have been reported to the police and are being investigated by the police. According to him, there has not been a single car hijacking or any attempted car hijacking in the area in the past two days, so he could not comment on this matter.

Second Case of Farm Attackers Bursting Through Glass Door in Port Elizabeth! Same Gang at Work?

SA-News.com reported two weeks ago about a farm attack on August 11 in Theesecombe near PE, where a gang of armed black men in balaclavas smashed the glass door, and simultaneously invaded the living room. It happened again a week later, this time just across St Francis Bay on 19 August 2021 around 18h45. Once again, the owners, from the farm Braklaagte between Hankey and Humansdorp, were relaxing in their living room watching TV, when the glass door was shattered by a large stone thrown through the glass.

SAPS Detectives Ask People to Protect Themselves at Home after Armed Robbers Smash Through Glass Door. What is the SAPS’ Task Then?

Just sitting and watching TV is dangerous these days, and do not expect SAPS to worry about your safety, on the contrary, they advise people to protect themselves! A family in Theesecombe was watching TV at the weekend, when armed home invaders burst through the glass door, to gain access to the house, and rob them.

The female victim (57) and her family were watching TV at about 22:50 when she noticed an unknown man with a balaclava at the glass door, according to SAPS. A shot was fired and the glass door shattered, even before she could warn her husband.

31 Prisoners Freed from Prison Transport by Armed Gang – 20 Still on the Run in Kwazulu-Natal!

Inside Job? Police in KwaZulu-Natal have launched a manhunt for 20 awaiting trial prisoners still at large, who escaped from a transfer truck this morning in Pietermaritzburg. Five armed suspects with AK47’s stopped and blocked the vehicle. Police say the transport vehicle, which was being escorted by only two SAPS officers, was carrying 45 inmates who escaped, but 25 inmates are now back in custody.

The truck was transporting the prisoners from Pietermaritzburg New Prison to the Local Magistrate’s Court when the group were released from the vehicle by armed men.

KZN police spokesperson Jay Naicker says only two police officers were transporting 45 prisoners when the incident happened.

Firearms License Applications Reopened Following Judgment from SA Court of Appeals

Following a court ruling handed down by the Supreme Court of Appeal in SA, the owners of firearms, whose licenses have expired, can now apply for new licenses.

According to this ruling, there is no need to wait until the next amnesty period. Firearm owners whose licenses have expired must now be allowed to apply for these firearm licenses from scratch.

The South African Police Service initially refused to consider new applications from members of the public whom did not apply on time.

The refusal followed a letter from the Commissioner of Police issued on 3 February 2016. The letter indicated that such applications should not be accepted by the SAPS, and these members of the public should be instructed to hand in their firearms at the nearest police station.

Did Vusi Shongwe, MEC of Mpumalanga’s Remarks After Dirkiesdorp Shooting, Contribute to Bloody Double Farm Murder Near Nelspruit?

Mpumalanga Agri, who took note with great sadness of the tragic death of two peace-loving people, on a farm near Nelspruit on Saturday evening 24 April, strongly condemned the latest attack and murder of farm dwellers. In a statement, Mpumalanga Agri questioned the controversial remarks of Mpumalanga MEC for community safety, Mr. Vusi Shongwe, regarding the incident on 9 April at Pampoen-kraal, Dirkiesdorp, which could possibly have contributed to the motivation regarding the barbaric and bloody murder of the defenseless mother, Annemarie Botha (64) and her son Ruan.

Mpumalanga Agriculture expressed its deepest condolences to the relatives of the deceased who were allegedly killed during a robbery on the farm “Valley Farm.” According to reports, the victims of the bloody attack and murder were Annemarie Botha (64) a mother and her mentally handicapped son Ruan, in his early thirties. A case of murder and robbery has apparently already been opened by SA police.

If anyone still believed that the SA Police and court did not do a “frame job” on the group of arrested farmers from Dirkiesdorp, such white-guilt driven thoughts were properly annulled in court on Tuesday.

The investigating officer in the case, a black adjutant officer, admitted that he had only one version of the case – and that is the version that the group of violent black toyi toyers, who entered the farm Pampoenkraal illegally on 9 April 2021 to confront the owner Werner Potgieter, gave to him. He did not obtain the version of any farmer on April 9 nor after that.

How is this at all acceptable? How can five men with fixed addresses, who do not pose a danger to anyone in society be detained for so long, without the investigating officer in the case obtain
