#AbuseOfPower In yet another example of police officers disobeying lockdown regulations and abusing their power, high ranking police officers whose illegal activity was filmed by a neighbourhood watch member at a popular pub, Chillas in Vanderbijlpark, assaulted the cameraman and deleted the footage! This nationwide abuse of power and petty vindictive interpretation of the law in many cases, by the police has many wondering if the lockdown regulations are turning SA into a corrupt Police State.

Mr Wayne Scholtz (53), a Neighborhood watch member from Vanderbijlpark, was assaulted on Wednesday in front of a popular pub in Vanderbijlpark when he stopped to take a cellphone video of a group of men, including police officers, standing outside the well known pub drinking beer. Afriforum Release Their Moderate Version of Farm Murder Statistics For 2019, Showing a 27% Increase in Daily Attacks! Defend & Protect Yourself – The Black Majority Regime Will Not!

Afriforum have released their version of 2019 farm attack statistics which can be taken as a minimum, given their moderate conservative approach and it only includes attacks reported to them. However, despite this, it still shows a clear increase in the slow war and genocide on whites and even farm workers are affected.

The Afriforum statistics of farm murders and attacks for the 2019 year shows that farm attacks have increased yearly from 2011 with altogether 552 farm attacks that were reported to Afriforum in 2019. This represents a 27% increase from the 433 farm attacks reported in 2018. Lorraine Claassen, an analyst with Afriforum, says the most farm murders were in the Free State last year, a total of 11.

Two Tourists From The Netherlands Shot At in Farm Attack in Buffelsdrift, Pretoria

Two tourists from the Netherlands experienced first hand what what farm attacks are about when they were attacked and shot at during a braai on a smallholding in Buffelsdrift, Pretoria 

Two tourists from the Netherlands and their tour guide were attacked and shot at on a smallholding in Buffelsdrift which is north of Pretoria on Thursday afternoon. The tourists were braaing (BBQ) with some other people when 3 black male attackers struck. The tour guide ran to go and look for help as shots were fired at the tour guide and the 2 tourists.

Thankfully the 3 attackers fled without taking anything, probably because the tour guide got away and the attackers feared that he would raise the alarm. There were no injuries but the tourists were left severely traumatized. Neighbours did hear the shots and called the Police who attended the scene but no arrests were made.

SAPS’s backward planning – Rapid Response patrols receive small Nissan NP200 pickups to chase villains while regular patrols boast with lightning-fast VW GTi models

Rapid Response patrols in the Western Transvaal are equipped with the small Nissan NP200 pickup trucks with which they must chase the villains who flee with powerful cars.

The bakkies with their limited ability during a high pursuit cannot stand a chance to the fast cars nowadays owned by thieves, murderers and other villains.

In contrast, police doing patrols in the small towns, as the case in Mafikeng, use the high-speed Volkswagen Golf GTi models.

Apparently, several letters to police chiefs were sent to point out the SAPS backward planning without any success and no response given by the Headquarters in the past 18 months.

Allegations are being made that senior police enjoy the luxury of being driven around by members in a fast Golf GTi.

It is alleged that the police commissioner who heads the area is himself guilty of being taken around in a Volkswagen Golf.

Robbery caught on camera, police fail to take action

A 35-year-old from Mitchells Plain witnessed and recorded a smash and grab at the intersection on Jakes Gerwel Drive and Govan Mbeki Road on the 22nd of November. The man has slammed the cops for not taking action after he handed the recording over to the police.

“I travel with a scooter and my camera is mounted on my helmet and records while I’m driving.

“I got to the intersection and I saw these guys running from the road. It was 6.30am and traffic was bumper to bumper,” he explains.

He witnessed the robbers smashing a woman’s window and stealing her bag.

“She really put up a fight. I went over and assisted her,” says the man.

The man says he tried stopping a law enforcement vehicle and subsequently followed them in Scaapkraal, where he was told by the officer that there should be a van there.

WATCH | ‘If she dies, she dies’ – ‘Drunk’ cop ignored jailed mother’s cries for help

A policeman has been accused of being “drunk” on duty and refusing to help a woman screaming for help from the holding cells at a Midrand police station during the weekend.

An eyewitness, who recorded the incident, spoke to TimesLIVE on condition of anonymity on Tuesday morning.

Thabo* said he went to the police station to bail out a friend who had been arrested for driving under the influence on Friday evening.

“We gave him money for bail, but the police station was not releasing him for whatever reason. They were just taking their time and said their computers were down.”

Thabo* said he left and returned on Saturday evening with three friends.

When they arrived at the station, they noticed a woman with a child in the holding cells.

According to Thabo* the woman shouted, “Help me officer, help me”.

Angry police officers threatened to go on strike over a contentious promotions agreement

Angry police officers have threatened to go on strike over a contentious promotions agreement, which could hamper the police’s festive-season crime crackdown.

This is despite being categorised as essential services staff who are barred from withdrawing their labour

Police anger stems from accusations that Police Minister Bheki Cele reneged on his promise made at a media briefing in March to, within three months, fix the promotions issue, after only 32000 members were promoted, while 45000 others remain in limbo.

Allegations are that these promotions were created to only benefit specialised and elite units – including the tactical response team, commonly known as Amaberete – at the expense of rank-and-file, visible and station officers, as well as detectives, among other members.

Missing: Mentally unstable policeman from Kwa-Thema – how was he recruited if he is mentally unstable?

Police in Kwa-Thema are appealing to the members of the public who may know the whereabouts of Constable Siphamandla Jobe (26). He was last seen on 11 July 2019, at about 05:00.

During his disappearance, he was wearing boxer shorts, yellow t-shirt, an SAPS ceremonial jacket, a tie and he was also barefoot.

The member is not mentally stable. He may be aggressive and members of the public are warned not to confront him instead they may contact the nearest police station or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
