Erica Eloff is a South African soprano specializing in opera, lieder and oratorio, currently residing in England. She made her professional debut in the UK during the summer of 2008 at Garsington Opera as Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte.

Over the last few years, soprano Erica Eloff has steadily built her career on the concert platform to become a sought after soloist and recitalist.

Praised in the media for her vocal authority and technical control, and a voice that is bright and well-produced across its range with great power at the top, she is a passionate and deeply musical performer.

Let’s have a look at a short Bio of Munro du Toit

When Munro du Toit came 3rd in the 2007 season of South Africa’s Idols competition, he knew he had taken a step forward in his career as a singer/songwriter.

This step forward has developed into One Way Ticket, Munro’s debut solo album which was released in 2009 by Sony Music Africa.

One Way Ticket was produced Brian O’Shean (best know for production work with Seether, Arno Carstens & Sugardrive) and up and coming production talent Paul Mc Iver.

Munro was born in Sabie, lived in Sedgefield and eventually moved to George where he matriculated in 2000. He‘s a consummate guitar and harmonica player and already started his first band in Grade 9! After matriculating, he moved to Cape Town where he worked as a professional musician for a while.

Ampie Du Preez (born c. 1982) is a South African singer-songwriter. In 2010 he collaborated with South African cricketer AB de Villiers on their debut album, Maak Jou Drome Waar (Make Your Dreams Come True).

Ampie previously worked with South African group ‘n Man Soos Jan.

He has also done songwriting for South African artist Elizma Theron. He penned the title track to her 2009 album “Ek Soek Jou.”

He released his first album entitled “Definitely Maybe” when he was in grade 11.

He formed a duet with former Eden member Sean Else called 34 Grade Suid. They released their first album “Staan Vas”. Music videos were released for both the single “Val Sonder Jou” (in early March 2011) and for the title track in July 2011.

Here are a few ‘tit-bits’ of the singer Dozi that you probably didn’t know

Dozi (born Hendrik Opperman on March 23, 1964) is a South African singer known for cultural boundaries for his Afrikaans, English and Zulu performances. His hits include: Old Rider (A Recording), Between You and Me, Just Stand A Little Style and Maybe My Baby.

Dozi was born in Hluhluwe in Natal and started singing at an early age. In 1999 his first album, “Mercy”, was released. The album was recorded in Zulu. His second album, “Op aanvraag”, is published in Afrikaans in 2001.

Dozi is a South African musician who first became popularly known through the television show Noot Vir Noot (Note For Note).

He’s subsequently hosted and performed in a show of his own entitled Kom ‘n Bietjie Binne (Come In For A Bit) and is also known for being a celebrity coach on the second and third seasons of the reality talent show Supersterre.

Since the age of 12 Dozi has been performing on stage, singing and playing guitar.

Country and Gospel singer Charlie Dicks, is well known, but here is some ‘tit-bits’ of her

The professional singing career of Charlie Dicks started in 1982 with the recording of a former known seven single. A long player soon followed, as did an invitation to share the stage with several well known South African artists at the Windhoek show. Hard work followed and slowly but surely the music industry took note of this new artist whose popularity with audiences increased.

In 1986 she was heard on the country hit parade for the first time with her hit song “Medals for mothers”. Several other hits like “Green to Blue”, “Walking piece of heaven” and “It’s a lovely lovely world” followed which firmly placed her foot in the door of the South African music industry.

Charlie made her television debut in the music programme “Sing Country”, which led to invitations to star in similar programmes as, Music-a-la-Carte, Uit die pluiskuil, TV 4 Special and the popular Noot-vir-Noot. Later i

Who can forget Tommy Dell, Country singer legend, here is a few ‘tit-bits’ about him

Thomas Albert Berry was born in East London as one of five children. You might ask, who is he??

You will know him as Tommy Dell, the well-known country singer who has been in the music industry for more than fifty years. Tommy has performed all over the country and represented SA twice in the USA at the Country Fanfare Show in Nashville. There he met the famous country artists such as Dolly Parton, Conway Twitty, Crystal Gayle, to name but a few.

He also toured with the Adam Leslie Theatrical Company and worked with e.g. Richard Loring, Eddie Eckstein and Mel Miller.

There is much more to mention but….the news is…that for the first time Tommy is willing to share his story with the public. He won his first singing competition at age 13 and after many interesing twists in his life, made his mark in country music.

In this special show Tommy will share personal highlights, sing songs that he has written as well as songs from other genres.

The well known pianist Rocco De Villiers is very popular, here is a short Bio of him

Pianist Rocco de Villiers has released 13 instrumental cd’s, 2 cocktail books, a live DVD and wrote and produced 35 instrumental stage productions. His latest release is a new cd album, BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL HYMNS 2.

His previous albums BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL PIANO, and MORE BEAUTIFUL PIANO and STUNNING all reached either gold or platinum status. In 2014 Rocco also released sheet music, ROCCO DE VILLIERS BLADMUSIEK VIR KLAVIER VOLUME 1 of his own compositions.

Rocco has been nominated and awarded a HUISGENOOT TEMPO , GHOEMA AWARD, VONK AWARD, SAMA, KANNA, WOORD-TROFEE and a CAPE THEATRE AWARD.
