Medupi Power Station Rocked by Explosive Failure Again! Impact on National Grid Unknown as Deployed Cadres Scratch Their Heads…

It seems that the implementation of cadre deployment and BBBEE practices are still taking their toll on the embattled national power provider. Eskom confirmed on Monday that the Medupi power station had an explosion on the number 4 unit’s generator, at around 22:50 on Sunday night, and that unit 5 also tripped as a result.

No injuries were reported at the plant and all employees and contractors were accounted for, but emergency services did assist seven workers with the necessary treatment for shock.

Emigration Tax? ANC Regime to Charge Emigrating South Africans an Additional “Exit Tax” on Retirement Funds!

In the National Treasury’s latest published Draft Tax Bills, which incorporates the tax proposals made in the 2021 Budget, the amendment proposes a particularly worrying amendment which may upend taxpayers’ carefully planned retirement. The Draft Taxation Laws Amendment Bill (TLAB) proposes an additional “exit tax” to tax retirement fund interests of individuals when they cease South African tax residency. This proposed amendment, due to come into operation on 1 March 2022, would be a further blow to emigrating South Africans wanting to cease their tax residency, following on from the three-year lock-in rule imposed on retirement annuities earlier this year. 

It is important to note that the Income Tax Act No. 58 of 1962 (the Act) already makes provisions for an exit tax where a person ceases their South African tax residency. Did anyone ask us? When connecting the dots, as Pravin Gordhan instructed, it seems the privatisation of SAA is yet another plunder scam by the ANC mafia. Harith, the new owner of SAA, was setup by the Mbeki and Ramaphosa faction of the ANC, possibly using funds belonging to the Government Employee’s Pension Fund (PIC). Just like when multi billionaire Oligarchs were created after the fall of the USSR, by funneling state public assets into private crony pockets. the privatization of SAA is just a massive ploy, designed to capture SAA for businessmen connected to Ramaphosa’s faction of the ANC! Was SAA deliberately bankrupted to enable this plunder of our assets?

Stellenbosch Man Allowed to Do Shopping in Woolworths Without Mask Thanks to Copy of Court Order!

A resident of Stellenbosch, who always goes shopping without a mask, was stopped at Woolworths in Stellenbosch Square yesterday and asked where his mask was. He then nicely and calmly explained to the guard and driver that he was not wearing a mask and that in July 2020 the Supreme Court declared the government’s legislation illegal. He then patiently showed the court order, and was allowed to shop in Woolworths without a mask. (Copy of Court Order Below).

Zweli Mkhize Placed On Special Leave While Digital Vibes Corruption is Investigated by Special Investigation Unit!

The South African Minister of Health has been placed on special leave until further notice by Cyril Ramaphosa, while the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) investigates allegations of corruption with Digital Vibes. Zweli Mkhize claimed he asked for time from his post while the investigation was ongoing, and asked to be temporarily replaced so he could fight the allegations of corruption against him, but no one believes it was voluntary.

“We did not discuss the issue of resignation. We discussed the issue of special leave pending the SIU report,” Mkhize said on Tuesday after speaking with Cyril. Mkhize is being investigated by the SIU over a contract awarded by his department to a company called Digital Vibes, which is managed by his former personal assistant, Tahera Mather, and former secretary, Naadhira Mitha.
