A patient in the Helen Joseph hospital in Johannesburg, Anna-Marie Buys who is in her late seventies and suffers from lung and brain cancer, sustained serious neck injuries on Saturday around 01: 45 when a black female patient climbed on top of her and started to saw her neck with a plastic knife.

The incident was also witnessed by another fellow patient. Anna-Marie is also paralyzed in the left side of her body due to a stroke she suffered. Anna-Marie’s husband went to visit her in the hospital on Saturday and saw a piece of gauze on her neck. The gauze later came off and then her husband saw the deep wounds. He immediately called his daughter Debbie and her husband to come to the hospital.

The hospital told them that Anna-Marie was injured when a fellow patient wanted to pray for her. However another patient said that she saw how a fellow patient went to sit on top of Anna-Marie, held her mouth closed with her hand and started to cut her neck with a plastic knife.

Tired of being ‘coloured’ – Coloured activist is now dragging government to court to remove the separate classification of coloured and Indian

An activist who is tired of being classified as a coloured South African is now dragging the government to scrap the separate classifications of coloured and Indian and rather to regard them as black South Africans.

Glen Snyman, a teacher from Oudtshoorn and founder of People Against Race Classification (Parc), has started a lawsuit against the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) and the National Department of Basic Education in the Cape Labour Court.

He claims, among other things, that:

* Brown and Indian people’s race classification should carry the same weight as when considering black candidates for positions or promotion;

* Blocks on application forms in which someone has to classify themselves as brown or Indian must be removed from all WCED forms.

* Someone can identify himself as “other” in the person’s racial classification, instead of coloured or Indian, on the WCED recruitment website;

* The WCED immediately stops using the word and id

Sex education taken too far? Randfontein High School has 34 black pupils who are pregnant – No doubt they will soon be standing in the queue for Child Grant as well

A High School in Randfontein has more or less 34 pregnant pupils at school right now at this moment who is still sitting at their school desk, trying to pass their grade this year.

According to informed sources, one in 18 female pupils in the school is pregnant, and all possible measures taken, are useless.

The school has its own clinic, a sex education section, and a “sympathetic” team of teachers, but it apparently did not contribute to changing the scandalous condition.

The principal has admitted that they tried everything in their power to stop this epidemic, but however the school hasn’t yet managed to reduce the pregnancies.

Then again, educators believe that the provision of facilities by certain cultural groups is seen as a method of encouraging pregnancies.

Playing the race card when all else fail – Zuma: I’m being victimised because I’m black

Former President Jacob Zuma faces charges of fraud, corruption and racketeering linked to the arms deal. But now he claims that he is being victimised because he is black.

Zuma addressed his supporters on Tuesday following a brief appearance in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

He indicated his intention to challenge a court decision denying his application for a permanent stay of prosecution.

The former president faces charges of fraud, corruption and racketeering linked to the arms deal.

He allegedly received 783 unlawful payments between 1996 and 2005.

But he believed he was being targeted because of the colour of his skin.

“As a black person, you will face victimisation until you die, you will also encounter traitors.”

Zuma is expected to formally lodge his appeal documents by 1 November while the court is expected to hear the matter on 22 November.

There’s a false perception by some ignorant black South Africans that farm workers alone are actually the brains behind farming success

Please note the attached article – many Zimbabweans were gainfully employed as workers in the 1970’s —their efforts were well received, highly productive, and mutually beneficial to the country’s agricultural success…and all parties were aptly recognized for this esteemed ranking back in 1975.

If black Zimbabweans workers were the brains, why then did these black Zimbabweans abandon their country and the land they loved? Why did they choose not to use their farming knowledge and techniques? Why did they choose to turn Zimbabwe into a dust bowl, and result in the extreme suffering of millions? The answer is that clearly black Zimbabwean farm workers lacked the knowledge, the tools, resources and infrastructure to build their own massive agricultural business. Even if they had the knowledge, Robert Mugabe didn’t want his ‘people’ thriving – he wanted everyone weak and reliant on him…which explains the worlds outrage at Mugabe
