Petition: Make Peace NOT War! Invite both Ukraine & Russia to join NATO & EU to ensure lasting peace!

The best way to ensure permanent and lasting peace on the European continent, is to let both Ukraine AND Russia join the very organisations that claim to maintain peace and stability in Europe.

By being members of NATO and EU, they would not be allowed to implement any hostilities against each other, and because the people’s of Ukraine and Russia, and indeed the wider Baltic region, are very closely linked with trade, historically, religion and heritage, it will ensure that The People’s wishes are put first, not power hungry politicians or headline grabbing mainstream media!

Mark Rutte het tydens ‘n gespanne vergadering van EU-leiers aan die Hongaarse leier, Viktor Orban, gesê dat Hongarye dalk beter daaraan toe is om die EU te verlaat. Die beraad het plaasgevind nadat die Hongaarse parlement ‘n wet aanvaar het, wat skole verbied om kinders te indoktrineer oor homoseksualiteit en verwante afwykings. Orban het die wet verdedig en aangevoer dat dit nodig is om te verseker dat ouers hul kinders se seksopvoeding self beheer.

Ironies dat Rutte Orban se houding as ‘skaamteloos’ bestempel het, en gesê dat hy verkies dat Hongarye die Europese Unie verlaat, as hulle voortgaan met hierdie koers. Rutte erken dat Nederland niks hieroor kan doen nie, maar het Orban uitgedaag om self die onttrekkingsprosedure te begin.

Die Skotse Nasionale Party (SNP) van Nicola Sturgeon het in die onlangse verkiesing weer ‘n meerderheid in die parlement verkry, wat na BRexit, ‘n beduidende invloed het op die versterking van die eis vir ‘n referendum oor onafhanklikheid sal hê.

Die oorwinning van minister Sturgeon het die Britse premier Boris Johnson genoop om te begin beplan vir ‘n dringende gesprek met die Skotte om te probeer voorkom dat die streek hom aan die Verenigde Koninkryk onttrek, en daarna weer aan te sluit by die Europeerse Unie, so hulle soek nie eintlik onafhanklikheid nie, maar net ‘n groter oorheerser.
