Zuma pretending to be ill to escape jail time like his former friend Schabir Shaik?

There are a number of reasons why the former president of the ANC is suddenly ill, and one is that his chances of being released from the bars are diminishing.

This is the opinion of a political analyst in Pretoria after Jacob Zuma’s lawyer informed the Zondo Commission that Zuma could not attend next week’s hearing, “because he will be sick”.

Observers point out that Schabir Shaik’s very good health was also abused to get him out of jail, which may have now given the former president a new plan.

The Zuma camp is fairly widely regarded as a group that understands the art of postponing conviction, because the Commission has confirmed that its testimony will be heard at a later stage – that is, if the man is ever healthy again and, like his old friend, is so ill that he can’t sit in jail.

Agrizzi, who testified about State Capture and allegations of corruption, bribery and tender fraud, still has the ax above his head and will be subject to cross-examination

Former Bosasa executive Angelo Agrizzi is back in front of the Zondo Commission after spelling out numerous people’s offenses during his testimony.

The Zondo Commission, which costs the country millions of rand from the state treasury, has been running for months longer than initially approved, and will, according to informed sources, continue its investigation for a long time.

Angelo Agrizzi, who initially testified about State hijacking and allegations of corruption, bribery and tender fraud, still has the fall ax above his head and will be subject to cross-examination.

Legal representatives from various people and institutions are likely to take part in the process of pushing the former chief with cross-examination into a corner.

Kevin Wakefield is the first person to face the accusation of receiving bribes of R100,000 a month.

12 Municipalities in the Eastern Transvaal are under suspicion of mismanagement and corruption – R2 billion worth of wasteful expenditure incurred

The Zondo Commission, which raises millions of rand from the state treasury, has now had to shift its focus to the Eastern Transvaal to hear evidence of corruption and state capture in state-owned entities.

Corruption in many municipalities in the province, as well as mismanagement and maladministration, seems to have been addressed.

At least 12 municipalities are suspected of being guilty of corruption and mismanagement, and it appears the municipalities of, among others, Piet Retief, Lydenburg, Carolina, Balfour, Volksrust, Ermelo, Standerton, Middelburg and Delmas and three location municipalities are in danger .

According to a report by the Auditor-General, about R2 billion of expenditure was incurred unlawfully among the municipalities, and more than R236 million was a mere waste of funds.

Of all the illegal expenses, one particular case was pointed out in excess of R5 million paid for repairing a road that does not exist at all.

Many secrets now buried with Watson’s death – Several corrupt people’s crimes are now going to the grave with him

Many secrets surrounding the corruption and state capture in South Africa were buried for good after the communist-minded Gavin Watson died when he crashed into a concrete pillar with a Toyota car on Monday morning.

There are suspicions that Watson wanted to evade Tuesday’s testimony before the Zondo commission and flee the country, especially considering the numerous bribes he was dealing with.

Observers later said Watson’s death would suit a lot of corrupt people like a glove, and their scandalous actions can now be easily refuted.

The possibility that Watson committed suicide is considered the sole cause of the accident in some circles, and the allegation that he did not have the expertise to drive a gearshift car because he was only driving cars with automatic gears, is rejected.

Former President Zuma and the three monkeys – hear nothing, see nothing and say nothing!

The statues of the three monkeys materialized as the Zondo commission dragged on. The one monkey closes his ears, the other his eyes and the other his mouth. Now Zuma comes and says, “I can’t remember, I can’t say anything, I wasn’t there”

This is Jacob Zuma’s answer to his questions. He now attempts to be the great martyr on whom everyone wants to put the blame on and even told the commission he had receive death threats.

He seeks to divert attention from his involvement in the State Capture process through all kinds of accusations against people and institutions who apparently discredit him and want to get rid of him.

Political analysts warn that Zuma’s attack on the ANC’s leadership could spark a storm in the party. Meanwhile, the money baron Johann Rupert dismissed Zuma as a pathological liar.

President in absentia: More than 30! That’s how many times Zuma failed to answer questions at state capture inquiry

How many times did former president Jacob Zuma respond to questions at the state capture inquiry with “I don’t know”, “I don’t remember” or “I’m not sure”? We counted. During his testimony from Monday to Wednesday last week, he denied knowing the answers to 36 questions.

Last week, the former president dominated news headlines when he appeared before deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo at the commission in Johannesburg. He was expected to, among other things, respond to allegations levelled against him by nine witnesses, including former public enterprises minister Barbara Hogan and former GCIS CEO Themba Maseko.

He quickly earned himself the name “president in absentia” for not being able to answer questions put to him by evidence leader Paul Pretorius and Judge Zondo.

R659 Million Prepayment Covered the Shortfall Tegeta Required to Purchase Optimum Holdings

That our country is still standing with the amount of corruption surrounding us, is a wonder. On Tuesday, March 5 the Zondo commission heard that within 180-minutes after receiving the order to pay R659 million, the entire transaction was completed.

This payment was completed without any services rendered by Gupta-owned Tegeta. Snehal Nagar, a charted accountant from Eskom’s primary division, told the commission how he was instructed by his bosses to make the prepayment without the submission of supporting documents.

Tegeta is a Gupta-linked company which was awarded coal contracts by Eskom. The company has since failed to deliver the coal to Eskom’s power stations even though it is still mandated to do so.

Nagar said he received an email from Ayanda Mthetha, who was the head of the primary division, which attached an invoice for an R659 million payment. The email read as “per discussion”. Na

Far Left Helen Zille is suddenly tired of corruption in the country and now threatens to launch a “tax revolution”

Helen Zille says she will start with a tax boycott action if those who are guilty of corruption as found by the Zondo Commission are not going to be prosecuted.

Zille says she will launch a “tax revolution”, but meanwhile, the DA’s leaders have distanced themselves from Zille’s statement.

She also believes the same action is needed against all politicians and councilors guilty of bribery and fraud.

An ANC spokesman apparently later said Helen Zille was very close to treason when she made such talks.

UPDATE:- The Zuma “bribe” : Radovan Krejcir case may head to the state capture inquiry

The startling allegations Radovan Krejcir made against Jacob Zuma this week could head to the Zondo Commission, according to Mo Shaik.

Monday’s revelation that Jacob Zuma had apparently accepted a bribe from a Czech gangster seeking asylum in South Africa wasn’t as much explosive as it was absolutely nuclear. Of course, Radovan Krejcir has merely made an allegation – but he says that the proof is out there.
