South Africa now has the worst unemployment in the world according to Bloomberg, and now falls among other disastrous countries such as Colombia, Cuba, Syria and Venezuela. For all Ramaphosa’s nice speeches and promises, he does not understand that one main goal of a good government, is to establish an economy, which gives the people of the country the opportunity to make an honest living. The ANC government is not doing this at all. They set an example of corruption and immaturity. Corruption does not build an economy. Looting is just that. It builds nothing. And then the ridiculous reasons put forward: free housing, free education, free everything, which only exacerbates the above. And if ANC supporters do not get it for free, they throw a tantrum like a toddler, and burn down everything they see.

Suid Afrika het nou die ergste werkloosheid ter wêreld volgens ‘n Bloomberg monitor, en val nou onder ander rampspoedige lande soos Colombia, Cuba, Syria en Venezuela. Vir al Ramaphosa se mooi praatjies en beloftes, verstaan hy nie dat een hoofdoel van ‘n goeie regering, is om ‘n ekonomie daar te stel, wat die inwoners van die land die geleentheid gee om ‘n eerlike bestaan te kan maak. Die ANC regering doen dit allermins. Hulle stel ‘n voorbeeld van korrupsie en onvolwassenheid. Korrupsie bou geen ekonomie. Plundery is net dit. Dit bou niks. En dan die belaglike redes wat aangevoer word: gratis behuising, gratis onderrig, gratis als, wat die bogenoemde net vererger. En as ANC aanhangers dit nie gratis kry nie, gooi hulle ‘n vloermoer soos ‘n kleuter, en brand alles af wat hulle sien.

Liquidations on the rise in South Africa – number of liquidations increased by 13.7% during the first seven months of 2019 with 183 business liquidation recorded in July

South Africa recorded 183 business liquidations in July 2019, representing a 24.5% rise from 147 liquidations recorded a year ago, according to StatsSA.

The stats body said that 1,198 liquidations were recorded so far this year (January to July), higher than the 1,054 recorded in the same period last year.

The report found that the financing, insurance, real estate, business services sectors saw the most closures, followed by the trade, catering and accommodation sector.

Those in the financing, insurance, real estate and business services were most likely to file for insolvency in South Africa while those working in electricity, gas and water were the least likely to go insolvent.

The total number of liquidations increased by 13.7% during the first seven months of 2019 compared with the first seven months of 2018, StatsSA said.
