Verskeie skole in die Queenswood-omgewing van Pretoria is vandag, Woensdag 28 Julie gesluit weens ‘n optog van die EFF na Huis Herfsblaar ouetehuis, waar die Bittereinders gevra is om die ou mense te verdedig teem Malema se rasselokaas en aandag soekery.

Eduplex, laerskole Queenswood en Nellie Swart en Loreto School het besluit om hul deure te sluit na hulle deur die polisie in kennis gestel dat dit raadsaam is om die skool te sluit.

‘n Paneel van wetgewers oorweeg tans om Artikel 25 van die grondwet, wat handel oor eiendomsreg, heeltemal te verander. Dit was verlede maand veronderstel om sy werk af te handel, maar het versoek om uitstel van dertig dae nadat die lede nie eensgesind was nie.

Die ANC se planne om die grondwet te wysig om dit makliker te maak om grond in beslag te neem, sonder om daarvoor te betaal, het verkeerd geloop omdat hy nie genoeg steun van ander partye kon vasstel om die veranderinge deur te druk nie.
